The HVAC design includes a central air handler with indirect/direct evaporative cooling, which is well suited for the high volume of outdoor air required for the building.  The central air handler includes a set of specialty filters to remove dust, sand, and grit from the outdoor air, and the mechanical penthouse includes a purpose-built custom sink to clean the dust/sand filters.
